Treasurer’s Report

As of January 1, 2010, the alumni association treasury has a balance of $81.59. In 2009, the association had expenses that totaled $1,117.44 and income that totaled $855.00. A detailed financial summary can be seen here: (link to doc). Dues are not a requirement of membership, but all LIS alumni are encouraged to support the association through annual contributions. Alumni who make a contribution of $100.00 (or more) are recognized as Sustaining Members of the association. Contributions support the annual LISAA luncheon, Fall and Spring receptions for recent graduates of the program, alumni receptions at various professional conferences, and other one-of-a-kind service projects suggested by the LIS faculty. Contributions can be sent to LISAA c/o Jeff Stabnau at 5645 Hornaday Rd., Unit H, Greensboro, NC 27409. Please make your check payable to LIS Alumni Association – UNCG and write “LISAA” in the memo line of your check.
