UNCG LIS Students Want You!

UNCG LIS Student Association would like to invite UNCG LIS alumni to attend and participate in our mentor socials. We are looking for volunteers to visit with our members and discuss topics of interest. These events will be held on Friday evenings in late fall. Topics we will be addressing this semester include:

New Professionals: What to Expect in the Job Search Process and In Your First Few Years on the Job (For this topic, we would prefer recent graduates-within the last 5 years or so.)

Conference Attendance: Navigating What to Attend and What to Do When You Get There

If you are interested in attending to discuss one of these topics, please email Sarah Anderson and provide the Friday night dates you are available in October and November.
